Steelers NT Tyson Alualu Suffers High Ankle Sprain

Tyson Alualu, the Steelers' nose tackle, suffered a right ankle in the first quarter of the team's Week 2 matchup against the Raiders. By video, he suffered a high ankle sprain when he had his right leg rolled up on by linebacker T.J. Watt during a tackle on a Peyton Barber run. Alualu was helped to the medical tent and was unable to put weight on his right leg. It will be difficult for Alualu to return this game and will be difficult for the Steelers to stop the run.

Update

Alualu has been officially ruled out and reportedly suffered a fractured ankle, according to Head Coach Mike Tomlin.
