Pittsburgh running back injury status isn't dire as it might seem. In Monday night's victory over the Dolphins, they were left at the end of the game with only one ball carrier. James Conner suffered a right shoulder injury right before the two minute warning. Benny Snell left earlier with a knee issue. Jaylen Samuels was inactive after undergoing a knee arthroscopy just a month earlier which left Trey Edmunds as the only running back. The Steelers will be fine at the running back position next week as James Conner by video has suffered a mild AC joint sprain. We discussed in game that he should be able to return to play even though he might be limited in practice and left the game in a sling. Josh Jacobs with the Raiders has played through his mild AC joint sprain as a recent comparison. Jaylen Samuels should be active as he was close to returning this week from his knee scope. The status of Benny Snell is not as certain but in any case it appears the Steelers will at least 2 of their top two running backs available for their week 10 matchup.
