Sterling Shepard, Darius Slayon Will Both Miss Game Against Saints With Hamstring Strains

New York Giants wide receivers Sterling Shepard and Darius Slayton will both miss the team's matchup against the Saints with hamstring strains they suffered in Week 3. Slayton injured his hamstring in the first quarter and Shepard left in the second quarter. Both wide receivers did not practice all week and they might miss Week 5 as well. Hamstring injuries are tough to judge by video, but the fact they didn't return to the game or practice this week does not bode well for Week 5. Wide receiver Kenny Golladay will play through a hip injury this week against the Saints and tight end Evan Engram will play his second game returning from a preseason calf strain. Rookie wideout Kadarius Toney should see increased targets with Shepard and Slayton out.
