The Giants’ wide receiver suffered a concussion in Week 1 and sprung no surprises as he was ruled out for the Giants next game. In the health and safety era, with special attention to concussions, the norm is to miss one week. It’s become more and more unusual to return after one week from a concussion. Hopefully Shepard can be back for Week 3, but that remains to be seen.
