It looks like Sterling Shepard will be cleared for his game this week versus the Cowboys. The Giants wide receiver was a full practice today, which is really the first big practice of the week given the Monday night contest. With multiple concussions this season, he has not been allowed to fully participate in practice. This the final step before the independent neurologist can give him clearance to play. The point is to prove the player can handle the full stress of football activities and no symptoms recur. The step-by-step clearances are done by the team doctors, but the final clearance needs to be an NFLPA appointed independent doctor. Barring a setback, the Giants will have their number one receiver back for the divisional showdown.
