Takkarist McKinley Suffers Torn Achilles Tendon, Done For Season

Takkarist McKinley, the Browns edge rusher, suffered a torn Achilles tendon late in the third quarter against the Raiders.

McKinley was starting at right defensive end for Jadaveon Clowney, who was inactive for the game on the COVID reserve list.

By video, McKinley was on a pass rush when he came up gingerly and reached down for his left foot.

He was ruled out with an ankle injury, but we expect an MRI to confirm he has a torn Achilles tendon. If confirmed, his season is over.

Porter Gustin will likely take over at right defensive end for the rest of the game.
