Taysom Hill, the Saints multi-use tight end, left the game against Washington with a head injury. By video, Hill was hit in the head by a Washington defender's shoulder on an incomplete pass early in the second quarter. Hill was able to stand up and get on the cart, then was taken to the locker room after the hit. Although his neck torqued significantly on the hit, he seemed to escape a neck injury. We have worry for a head injury since he was hit in the temple. Hill will likely not return to the game and his status going forward is in doubt. The Saints have a bye next week, then play the Seahawks on Monday night in Week 7.
Update
Hill has been ruled out with a concussion.
