Taysom Hill Leaves With Left Foot Injury, Trevor Siemian in at Quarterback

Saints starting quarterback Taysom Hill left the Week 18 matchup against the Falcons with an apparent left foot injury.

By video, Hill stepped on tight end Adam Trautman's foot, then walked off gingerly with trainers.

ProFootballDoc, Dr. David Chao, said Hill didn't seem to plant his left foot fully on that run play and the previous run play.

Hill has reportedly been dealing with a partially torn plantar fascia, but it remains unclear which foot that injury is in.

Trevor Siemian is in at quarterback for the Saints. Jameis Winston is out for the season with a torn ACL.

Hill completed 7 of 9 passes for 107 yards and a touchdown, plus five rushes for 18 yards before exiting.

The Saints make the playoffs with a win over the Falcons and a 49ers loss to the Rams.

Update

Head coach Sean Payton told Fox's Laura Okmin that Hill has a Lisfranc injury and is undergoing X-rays. If confirmed, Hill would be out for the playoffs.
