Saints quarterback Taysom Hill is reportedly expected to start Thursday night as long as he has a healthy week of practice. The return will be a boost for the Saints offense that had a season-worst 42.4 SIC score in Week 12. It was revealed this week that the 31-year-old is suffering from plantar fasciitis, which has kept him out of the last 2 Saints losses. Plantar fasciitis it is a partially-torn arch near the heel, and is a painful ailment. However, it is an injury that Hill should be able to play through with an injection, similar to how Aaron Rodgers is handling his fractured toe. Hill, who just signed a 4-year extension that can be worth up to $95 million, has been a full participant at practice both days this week, but was also an FP all of last week before being held out of the 31-6 loss to the Billss, so it is ultimately up to Sean Payton's discretion. New Orleans has also been missing star running back Alvin Kamara the last 2 weeks with a knee sprain, to go along with offensive linemen Ryan Ramczyk, Tarron Armstead, and Andrus Peat. Trevor Siemian is 0-4 as the starter since Jameis Winston's season-ending injury, throwing for 9 touchdowns and 3 interceptions on a 57.2% completion rate.
