Teddy Bridgewater Exits with Neck Injury

Teddy Bridgewater went down on the play, after getting kicked in the knee/thigh and then hit late to the head and neck. He headed straight for the blue tent with a head injury, and his leg is not the concern here. The kick to that area will not in any way damage his previous multi ligament knee issue, the home is strictly with his head and neck area, as his head was compressed sideways to the shoulder on the hit. Given the type of blow to the temple, it seems less likely that he returns tonight, but it is very difficult to judge concussions and symptoms by the mechanism of the blow. He is warming up on the sideline, and it appears he has cleared concussion protocol as trainers massage his neck on his throwing side. XFL signee PJ Walker is under center for now.
