Teddy Bridgewater Questionable, Unlikely To Play

While the team says that Teddy Bridgewater is a "true game-time" decision, we find it unlikely that he will play. First, the Panthers have been largely conservative in bringing players back from injury, and in a rebuilding season there is little cause to risk their stars' longterm health. Also, Teddy's knee injury would seriously hamper his game, as he relies on mobility in the pocket. Also, Matt Rhule has his college quarterback on the roster in PJ Walker, and they appeared to trust him to send the ball deep in the limited action he's seen. Walker did compete for snaps with Will Grier this week so his start is not a certainty, but it is leaning in that direction ahead of Sunday's action.
