T.J. Watt, the Steelers' edge rusher, has been downgraded to out for Sunday's division contest versus the Bengals. This was our expectation all along after he suffered the injury during the team's Week 2 game against the Raiders. Even if the groin strain was minor, given the position he plays, the groin is a vital part of his pass rush. And if the Steelers chose to play him with the high chance of reactivation, it would not have been prudent. With reaggravation he could have potentially missed the next three or four weeks. The better decision is to sit him this week and ensure he will be good to go for Week 4 against the Packers. Fellow linebacker Alex Highsmith is out due to a groin injury as well. Although cornerback Joe Hayden and linebacker Devin Bush are returning from their recent groin injuries, those are positions to watch. Check out our SIC health score on the field view to see the big Steelers delta decrease from Week 2 to Week 3.
