T.J. Watt Leaves With Groin Injury, Ruled Out

T.J. Watt, the Steelers star linebacker, left the Thursday night game in the second quarter and is questionable to return with a groin injury. Losing Watt is a big blow to a Steelers defense that was already struggling stopping the run. Muscle strain severity is difficult to judge by video, but don't expect Watt to return to the game.

The 27-year-old missed Week 3 with a groin strain. If this injury is to the same side, it would mean a longer absence for the three-time pro bowler. Taco Charlton will likely fill in at weakside linebacker.

Update

Watt has been ruled out for the game. The quick rule out after half is not a good sign. Watt missed just one week last time he strained his groin, but could be looking at a longer absence this time.
