The Raptors - SIC Health score 84.9 will work to stave off elimination Saturday morning against the 76ers still without one of their most important players.
Rookie forward Scottie Barnes has not played since suffering a lateral inversion sprain in his left ankle late in Game 1. Despite positive progress in his recovery, Barnes is doubtful for Game 4 and could miss the entire series.
Precious Achiuwa has played monstrous minutes in the last two games and scored 20 points with six rebounds on 81.9% shooting in the Raptors heartbreaking Game 3 loss.
Gary Trent Jr., meanwhile, looks to have recovered from the respiratory illness that hampered him in Games 1 and 2 and caused him to lose about eight pounds, according to the 23-year-old guard. Trent Jr. scored 24 points in 45 minutes on Wednesday, easily beating his over/under of 14.5. On FanDuel Sportsbook, his total points scored is set at 17.5 for Game 4.
Aside from the first quarter of Game 2, Fred VanVleet has struggled to shoot this series, averaging 16.7 points on 35.4% from the field and 33.3% from three. He has dealt with nagging knee soreness since January and has played in 43-or-more minutes in each of the last two playoff games. FanDuel SportsBook set VanVleet’s total points scored at 18.5 and his assists at 7.5.
The 76ers - SIC Health score 91.2 will only be concerned with one digit when they take on the Raptors Saturday: Joel Embiid’s right thumb.
Embiid, who is averaging 27.7 points and 13 rebounds on 51% shooting in the playoffs, should not be significantly hampered by the ligament damage in his right thumb and has an individual SIC score of 89 for Game 4. Donning the soft cast that he will likely wear for the rest of the series, Embiid hit the game-winning three with 0.9 seconds left in OT.
Matisse Thybulle remains ineligible for the road games in this series and Danny Green will likely have to play big minutes once again.
The playoff veteran scored nine points and grabbed seven rebounds in 46 minutes in Game 3, and FanDuel Sportsbook has his over/under for points at 8.5 and rebounds at 4.5 for Saturday’s contest.
