Trae Waynes Bengals Debut Put On Hold Yet Again Due To Hamstring Injury

The expected number one corner for the Bengals will miss the opener due to a hamstring issue. The stud cornerback signed a hefty contract in 2020 but has yet to see the field for Cincinnati. Before the 2020 season, Waynes torn his pectoral tendon and missed the entire season. Waynes will miss the matchup against his former team (Vikings). This could be more than a one hgame absence as hamstring injuries tend to linger and can easily be aggravated, especially at the CB position where the play is dictated by the WR. The Bengals will turn to newcomer Eli Apple to start in Waynes place.
