Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce was hit in the head near the end of the Week 5 loss to the Bills. By video, Buffalo safety Jordan Poyer's shoulder collided with the star tight end's head on an incomplete pass with just over four minutes left in the game. Poyer was penalized for the hit and Kelce left the game. By video, we didn't see any cause for serious concern and the tight end likely did not return because Kansas City was down 18 points with little time left. Kelce was undoubtedly checked for concussion after the hit. Head coach Andy Reid told reporters postgame that Kelce suffered a stinger. Right now we are not concerned about the 32-year-old's status for next week against the Washington Football Team.
