Tre'Davious White Injury Update: Bills CB Designated to Return

Buffalo Bills No. 1 cornerback Tre'Davious White returned to practice today after the Bills opened his 21-day practice window.

White, who tore the ACL in his left knee on Thanksgiving, started the year on the PUP list and did not participate in any preseason games.

The Pro Football Docs expect Week 8 or 9 to be realistic targets for his return. Head coach Sean McDermott has already ruled White out for this week's game against the Chiefs.

Buffalo has a bye in Week 7, then face the Packers on Sunday Night Football in Week 8.

ACL recoveries are tougher for cornerbacks because of the frequent change-of-direction required at the position.

White has not yet reached the year mark in his recovery and it would be surprising to see him play effectively before that.

Marcus Peters, who suffered an ACL tear in Week 1 last season, has a Pro Football Focus grade of 70.5 in 5 games this season.

Bills vs. Chiefs Week 6 Odds

Buffalo is favored by 2.5 points and the over/under is 53.5, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
