Kansas City Chiefs No. 1 corner Trent McDuffie was carted to the locker room after suffering an apparent left hamstring injury.
By video, McDuffie went down while sprinting back in coverage appeared to suffer a severe hamstring strain.
Hamstring injuries are difficult to judge by video, but McDuffie's injury appeared to be more than a Grade 1 strain.
Most hamstring injuries don't require surgery, but it is a possibility for McDuffie depending on the MRI.
Joshua Williams and Chris Lammons will likely see more snaps with McDuffie out.
The Chiefs face the Chargers at home on Thursday night and will likely be without McDuffie.
