Trevon Diggs Leaves Game Late With Right Ankle Injury, Likely To Play Against Broncos Next Week

Trevon Diggs, the Cowboys star corner, appeared to injure his right ankle near the end of the Sunday night game against the Vikings. With 20 seconds remaining, Diggs attempted to tackle tight end Tyler Conklin and Conklin's leg whipped around into Diggs' ankle. With the clock running, Diggs attempted to limped off the field quickly before the Cowboys called a timeout. By video, we believe the 24-year-old suffered an ankle contusion and could have returned to the game if there were more time remaining.

Diggs suffered a slight left ankle injury Week 5, but returned to the game. He has missed practice time because of the injury, but has not missed game time. We think this right ankle injury will be given the same treatment.
