Trevor Lawrence Injury: Jaguars QB Hurts Left Knee Against Lions, Returns

Update: Lawrence returned for the first drive of the second half, a sign that the Jaguars likely dodged serious injury to their second-year quarterback.

Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence appeared to suffer a severe left leg injury at the end of the first half against the Lions.

By video, Lawrence appeared to suffer a left high ankle sprain/MCL sprain when his leg was trapped underneath him on a sack from James Houston, according to the Pro Football Docs.

Lawrence walked off the field under his own power and was not given an injury status before halftime.

He is unlikely to return in the second half, according to the Pro Football Docs.

The Jaguars head to Tennessee in Week 14 and Lawrence's status for that game is likely in doubt.
