Tua Tagovailoa Leaves Game With Rib Injury

Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa was carted to the locker room in the first quarter of the Week 2 matchup against the Bills. By video, the second-year quarterback was sacked and Bills defensive end A.J. Epenesa landed hard on his chest. Tagovailoa was carted to the locker room for X-rays. It is possible he could return with a rib block, but the severity is undetermined right now.

Update

Tagovailoa reportedly has bruised ribs and his X-rays were negative. He will undergo tests Sunday night and Monday morning to determine the severity, according to Head Coach Brian Flores.
