Tua Tagovailoa had the inside of his right ankle stepped on. He suffered a classic inversion ankle sprain and had it taped on the sidelines. We believe he will continue to play and finish the game. He had both ankles operated on in college for a high ankle sprain. Both were tight rope type surgeries on the ankles. This injury is unrelated to his previous injuries, this sprain can be supported with tape. He may not be as mobile today.
