Update: Boyd has been ruled out of the game and Higgins has been deemed questionable to return with a hamstring injury.
Cincinnati Bengals wideout Tyler Boyd suffered an apparent right hand injury on his first target of the Week 14 game against the Browns.
By video, Boyd appeared to dislocate a finger on his right hand when he reached for the ball on the incompletion.
The Bengals' No. 3 wideout went straight to the locker room, likely to have the finger reduced and to undergo X-rays.
As long as his X-rays are negative, the Pro Football Docs expect him to return to the game with his finger buddy taped.
If Boyd can't return, Trent Taylor would likely see more targets along with Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins.
Higgins apparently picked up a hamstring injury in practice this week, but is active for the contest.
The Bengals head to Tampa Bay for a matchup with the Buccaneers next week.
