Vikings tight end Tyler Conklin injured his ribs on a hit late in the third quarter and will have difficulty returning against the Packers.
By video, Conklin took a direct shot to the ribs on a pass with just under a minute left in the third quarter.
He left the game and will likely undergo X-rays either during or after the game.
We don’t expect a fracture for Conklin, but he likely suffered a rib cartilage injury.
He’s likely out the rest of the game and his status for Week 18 is up in the air.
Conklin has served as starting tight end for a majority of the season with Irv Smith Jr. out due to injury.
