Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro suffered a Grade 2 right ankle sprain on 11/8. He had an X-ray, which came back clean. He is expected to be in a walking boot for about ten days and reevaluated in two weeks.
Our doctors believe he will likely be out the rest of November. Herro has a history of right ankle sprains which likely limited new damage, but the Heat may take it slow with his recovery given the early season status.
Through the first seven games of the season, Herro was averaging 25.3 points, 5.6 rebounds and 5.0 assists.
