Seattle star wide receiver Tyler Lockett left the game in the fourth quarter of the game against the Vikings with a left knee injury. By video, Lockett had his left foot planted as he was twisted by the tackler. The 28-year-old stayed down on the field, then walked off under his own power. We have worry for a mild MCL sprain, which can be significant for wide receiver's ability to cut. With the twisting motion, we had fear for a right ankle injury but we think it was spared. The hope is the knee injury is less significant than Browns wide receiver Jarvis Landry's MCL sprain, but Lockett is in danger of missing a few weeks, leaving him potentially out for the 49ers matchup in Week 4 and the Rams matchup in Week 5.
Update
Lockett returned to the game late in the fourth quarter. After the game, head coach Pete Carroll said Lockett's knee is "OK." We'll see how Lockett is listed in the injury report his week.
