Tyreek Hill is a game time decision. My interpretation of those comments are the Chiefs really want him to play and Hill himself is eager to play again. They need his vertical ability especially with Sammy Watkins out. However, this decision requires medical clearance. As we discussed previously, it’s a matter of stability of the SC joint and at five weeks it’s certainly on the early side of a return. It’s possible that the medical staff with informed consent of the player allows him to play, but I always thought this was a six week situation. It seems to me Kansa City is hoping there will be a last minute clearance. The joints stability will not change between now and Sunday. Clearly, Hill can perform the functions of a receiver, but can he take a hit or have someone fall on him by Sunday, unlikely.
