The Chiefs star wide receiver suffered a dislocated sternoclavicular joint and required a procedure to reduce the joint. When the collarbone moves posteriorly behind the sternum, major vessels can be compressed or compromised. Reports say four to six weeks for return but I'm leaning towards the higher number as it is not just about function and pain tolerance. One needs to wait for the ligaments to scar in. I believe he could play and move well in three weeks. For the sake of his safety and potential risk to the great vessels in the center of the chest, I feel his return will be closer to Week 7.
