Tyrell Williams, the projected main target for QB Jared Goff, is now on injured reserve. He suffered a concussion in Week 1 and missed Week 2, but is now on IR meaning he will miss out at least the next three games. His earliest return would be Week 6 at this point in time. Williams does not have any concussion history but the IR stint likely means his concussion symptoms have persisted. Once head injury symptoms persist beyond the initial period of time, it can be a long course for recovery. There's no guarantee that he will come back Week 6 when eligible. In fact, it is an open question as to when and if he returns this season. The Lions will be cautious with Williams as he works his way back to the field. We'll need to follow for more details and best wishes to Williams as he recovers.
