Late in the Sunday night football game, the Cowboys left tackle was engaged with his pass rusher when his right leg was rolled up on. The worry here is for a right knee and ankle injury. However because he was already wearing a knee brace his MCL and other ligaments were likely spared. By video, he suffered a right high ankle sprain where his foot was trapped leaving him limping and he did not finish the game. After the game, Jerry Jones did confirm high ankle sprain. He was in a boot after the game and as he flew home. Dallas will have to wait for overnight swelling and further evaluation. He will likely miss some time but it will not be an extended absence. He is a key member of the offensive line and any games missed will be a loss for the Cowboys.
