The third and fourth corners for the Vikings are ailing and both missed the Vikings playoff win versus the Saints. Mike Hughes was placed on injured reserve days before the playoff game as he has been dealing with a nagging neck injury. Mackensie Alexander did not practice the prior to the game and was ruled out with a knee injury. Reports are that Alexander has a small lateral meniscus tear and is seeking out to see if surgery is necessary. He was hurt in Week 17 and if he has a knee scope he would be out for the remainder of the playoffs but would be available for the Super Bowl. We are somewhat surprised he did not have surgery already as he was always going to miss the Wild card game. This procedure can often have you back on the field in as little as two weeks.
