At the end of TNF, Buccaneers Nose Tackle Vita Vea went down and was carted off. By video, a Bears player fell with the full weight of his body on Vea's extended leg while his foot was trapped. There was a clear give to his ankle in the collision, it is likely a fibula fracture at least and he will need surgery. This was just a bad luck injury, as unfortunately feet can stick even in grass. Vea was a key cog in this defensive front between Ndamukong Suh and William Gholston, and they'll miss his ability to fill gaps and stop the run.
