The Redskins visit the Vikings and there are some key injuries on both sides of the ball. It’s possible the Redskins could be without all three of their top running backs coming into the season. Derrius Guice is on injured reserve after his knee scope and having come off of a previous ACL tear. Adrian Peterson is dealing with significant ankle issues. He is in a boot and not practicing today while Chris Thompson is dealing with a turf toe injury. Thompson missed last week and is still not back at practice. The Vikings are iffy on the availability of wide receiver Adam Thielen after catching that beautiful touchdown and injuring his right hamstring. The hamstring is thought to be mild in severity. Given the short week it seems to be a good possibility that he could miss Thursday's game
