Per head coach Dan Quinn, Daniels is week-to-week with a rib/soft cartilage injury.
The injury does not appear to be serious, but it will require treatment and monitoring, he will likely miss Week 8 vs Chicago, but not much more time beyond that.
By video Washington Commanders QB Jayden Daniels suffered a likely rib/soft cartilage injury during the first quarter and left the field.
This can be very painful given the multiple muscle attachments including oblique attachments.
Daniels headed to locker room for likely x-ray and possible injection.
Backup QB Marcus Mariota is in the game for now.
Stay tuned for more updates from Pro Football Doc on Jayden Daniels.
