Washington LG Brandon Scherff Dealing With Left Knee MCL Sprain, Might Miss Week 5

Washington Football Team left guard Brandon Scherff suffered a left knee MCL sprain during Sunday's game against the Falcons. Scherff left the game after his left leg was rolled up on during a field goal attempt late in the third quarter. There was no clear video, but at the time we had worry for an MCL sprain or a high ankle sprain. The MCL sprain has been reportedly confirmed and Scherff's status for the Week 5 game against 2-2 Saints is in doubt. If he does play, he will require a knee brace and will have limited mobility.
