Washington RG Brandon Scherff Leaves Game With Injured Right Knee

Brandon Scherff, the Washington Football Team right guard, injured his right knee in the third quarter of Week 10's game against Tampa Bay. By video, Scherff was leg whipped on his right knee and went down. He walked off the field and was checked out in the blue tent. We hope the issue is more of a contusion than a long-term injury. He has been deemed questionable to return with a knee injury. Scherff was playing in his first game since he had an MCL sprain in his left knee Week 4. Wes Schweitzer will fill in at right guard.

Update

Scherff returned to the game at the start of the fourth quarter, suggesting he is dealing with more of a contusion.
