Carson Wentz 74

The former Eagles quarterback is not 100% after undergoing surgery on his left foot in the offseason. He is just coming off the reserve/COVID-19 list, but reports say he is locked in as the Colts’ Week 1 starter.

Joe Burrow 58

The second-year quarterback out of LSU has done a great job coming back from ACL/MCL surgery and a patella issue, but he is not near full health yet. He made his return in Week 3 of the preseason, but only played three snaps.

Patrick Mahomes 89

The star Chiefs quarterback had offseason surgery to repair a turf toe injury that troubled him for a majority of the Chiefs’ postseason run. Mahomes could have lingering stiffness that would limit his mobility.

Trey Lance 69

The No. 3 overall pick suffered a small bone chip in his right index finger in the 49ers’ Week 3 preseason game. He is not fully recovered from the injury and it could affect his accuracy.
Tua Tagovailoa 94

The Miami Dolphins quarterback enters this year healthy. He suffered the infamous hip dislocation in November 2019, which affected him well into last season.

Jimmy Garoppolo 94

The 29-year-old 49ers quarterback is healthy to start the year. He dealt with a high ankle sprain in November last year and suffered a torn ACL in September 2018.

Lamar Jackson 94

Jackson recently came off the reserve/COVID-19 list and he has missed some practice time. Other than that, he has no significant injury history.

Trevor Lawrence 92

The rookie Jaguars quarterback underwent a labral repair surgery in his non-throwing shoulder this offseason. He should be ready to go for his NFL debut.

Kirk Cousins 92

Cousins has been outspoken about his hesitancy to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. That means he is at a greater risk of missing time than any vaccinated player.

Matt Stafford 93

The new Los Angeles Rams quarterback has battled through numerous injuries in his career, but he doesn’t have any lingering injuries of note.
