George Kittle 99

The cuboid foot fracture that caused him to miss eight games last season is completely healed and the 49ers tight end is fully healthy to start the year.

Darren Waller 93

The Las Vegas Raiders’ tight end missed most of August with an undisclosed ankle issue. He is practicing fully now and the ankle shouldn’t be an issue.

T.J. Hockenson 90

The third-year Detroit Lions’ tight end is dealing with an AC joint issue. He did not play at all in the preseason, but will play Week 1.

Hunter Henry 89

The second half of the New England Patriots’ tight end attack is dealing with an undisclosed shoulder issue. He did not play in the preseason, but we have cautious optimism that he will be effective.

Jonnu Smith 91

The former Titans’ tight end had a minor hamstring and ankle injury in the preseason, but he did not miss any significant chunk of time.

Noah Fant 94

The Broncos’ starting tight end missed the team’s third preseason game with a lower leg issue. Reports say Fant will play Week 1 and we are optimistic he can play through the issue.

Dallas Goedert 95

He suffered an ankle fracture last season, but returned to play well at the end of the year.

Zach Ertz 96

The 30-year-old Eagles’ tight end suffered a high ankle sprain with a fracture last season. He enters this year healthy.

Adam Trautman 83

The Saints’ tight end is dealing with a left foot issue and hasn’t practiced since Week 2 of the preseason.

Kyle Rudolph 52

The new Giants’ tight end had fifth metatarsal stress fracture surgery and had a delayed start to the preseason. We do not expect a full load for him given his delay in getting acclimated to the new system.
