Week 3 QB SIC Scores

Carson Wentz (79 last week) 64

If Wentz plays, his mobility will be extremely limited due to sprains in both ankles. He can be an effective pocket passer despite the ankle injuries, but the Colts also have health issues on the offensive line.

Joe Burrow (69 last week) 73

Burrow has taken a few steps forward in his recovery from the ACL tear he suffered last season. His mobility in the pocket looked better against the Bears, but he threw 3 interceptions in the loss last week.

Lamar Jackson (92 last week) 92

The star Ravens quarterback missed practice on Thursday because of a non-COVID-19 illness. Jackson told reporters on Wednesday that his left hip was sore after his flip into the end zone against the Chiefs. We are not concerned about the hip or the illness and he practiced fully on Friday.

Zach Wilson (98 last week) 81

We knocked Wilson’s SIC health score because the groin injury will affect his mobility and ability to step into throws. Although he practiced fully all week, there is a chance of reaggravation.

Ben Roethlisberger (92 last week) 91

Roethlisberger has a left pectoral strain, but we are not worried about the injury. The Steelers quarterback has a history of playing well through injuries and we expect this time to be no different.

Baker Mayfield (98 last week) 90

Mayfield subluxed his left shoulder while tackling the Texans defender who intercepted him in Week 2. If it were his throwing shoulder, he would need surgery immediately and be done for the year. He can play through the pain and will likely wear a brace for the rest of the season.
