Which Eagles Will Miss Saturday's Game Against Dallas?

The Eagles don't have much to play for Saturday against the Cowboys, thus they won't rush any COVID positive or injured players back for the contest.

At best, they can remain in the #6 seed. At worst, they drop to the #7 seed.

Either way they play on the road in the wildcard round and it benefits them to rest key players in the final game of the regular season.

Dallas, meanwhile, could potentially move up to the two seed with a win and wins from Carolina, San Francisco and Seattle.

The Cowboys will still likely rest their starters in the second half, but they can still advance their position with a win.

ProFootballDoc, Dr. David Chao, said the 12 positive Eagles COVID tests early this week were likely the result of voluntary testing.

Eleven are eligible to return for the game Saturday, but they are not required to be activated.

Philadelphia keeping those players on the COVID reserve list would allow them 11 extra roster spots to fill with practice squad players for the game, Chao said.

In addition, don't be surprised to see injured players such as Jalen Hurts, Landon Dickerson or Lane Johnson inactive or in limited roles, Chao said.

As of Friday morning, the Cowboys were 4.5 point favorites for the game and 3 point favorites in the first half on FanDuel Sportsbook.

Expect those lines to move as the game statuses are released Friday afternoon and the COVID list activation deadline passes with little action from Philadelphia.
