Injury Advantage: Patriots Pass Offense
Neither team has a big injury advantage heading into this AFC East matchup for a spot in the Divisional round.
With Bills No. 1 corner Tre'Davious White done for the year with a torn ACL, the Patriots have a slight advantage in the passing game.
Last time the two teams faced off, Week 13, the Patriots attempted just three passes in the gusty conditions and won.
Don't expect the same game plan from head coach Bill Belichick, even though the forecast is for sub-freezing temperatures.
Secondary Advantage: Bills Run Defense
New England's starting left tackle Isaiah Wynn suffered a mild right high ankle sprain Week 18 and will likely miss the Wildcard game.
Rookie tackle Yodny Cajuste will likely start in his place for the first time since Week 6.
Also, Patriots starting running back Damien Harris is nursing a hamstring strain that has bothered him since Week 13, the last game against the Bills.
Backup running back James White is out for the season with a hip injury, but New England's running back depth has helped make up for his absence.
Rookie Rhamondre Stevenson should get a fair share of carries and could see increased work if Harris' hamstring doesn't respond well to the frigid conditions.
Buffalo ranked 13th in rushing yards allowed during the regular season and has its entire starting defensive line and linebacking core healthy.
