Andrew Vaughn, the White Sox budding young outfielder, remained in Friday's game after taking a pitch of his right hand/wrist.
His X-rays reportedly came back negative and he's considered “day-to-day.”
The positive X-ray results mean he Vaughn will certainly avoid a 10-day IL stint. He is not in the lineup for the mid-Saturday game against the Angels, but he may be available off the bench to pinch hit.
A.J. Pollock ($4,000) gets the start in left field, with Adam Engel ($3,800) in right and Luis Robert ($4,900) in center.
The White Sox are 1.5 run favorites over the Angels and the over/under is 9 runs, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
