Bucks star forward Khris Middleton has been out the entire Eastern Conference Semifinals series, but has a chance to return in the pivotal Game 7 series on Sunday.
Khris Middleton Injury Update
Middleton has been out since suffering a grade 2 MCL sprain in his left knee on April 20 against the Bulls.
Reportedly, there is optimism he can return for the Eastern Conference Finals, if the Bucks advance.
However, the Pro Basketball Docs are optimistic he can suit up for Game 7 against the Celtics on Sunday, although he will be at less than 100%.
He was spotted on Tuesday walking without a knee brace, a positive sign that he is close to a return.
If he does play, he will have limited mobility on defense and mainly be limited to a spot-up shooting role.
That could provide a boost for the Bucks if he's able to play limited minutes.
Middleton shot 37.3% from 3 during the regular season and was shooting 42.9% from 3 in the playoffs before his injury.
Pat Connaughton has done well filling in on the defensive end, but he and Grayson Allen don't provide the same scoring impact that Middleton would – even at less than 100%.
Bucks vs Celtics Game 7 Odds
The Bucks are 5 point underdogs in Boston for Game 7 and the over/under is 207, according to FanDuel Sportsbook. Milwaukee is +172 to win the series and +900 to win the NBA Finals.
