Here are the wide receivers coming off injury to avoid in 2024.

Justin Jefferson

In 2023, missed a total of seven games with a right hamstring strain. Still managed to break 1,000 yards receiving finishing with 68 catches and 5 touchdowns all three were career lows. Jefferson always had consistent QB play with Kirk Cousins in years past, but now the team will likely start the season with Sam Darnold under center. The Vikings also drafted J.J. McCarthy with the 10th overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. Darnold has only started 7 games in the past two seasons, 6 with the Panthers and one last season with the 49ers. The Vikings have top talent at every skill position boasting a depth chart with Jefferson, TJ Hockenson, Jordan Addison, and newly added RB Aaron Jones but with the uncertainty at the QB position we think Jefferson’s ADP is too high for 2024.

Marquise “Hollywood” Brown

Last season, Brown played in 14 games for Arizona, recording 51 catches for 574 yards. He is expected to produce higher numbers with Patrick Mahomes as his quarterback. Although he ended last season with a heel injury that caused him to miss the final three games, he is expected to be fully healthy to begin the 2024 season. The worry is him playing a full season something he has done just once in his career and this worry is why he finds himself on list on top of the overvalue with him being in the Chiefs offense.

Mike Williams

Joined the Jets in the offseason. Tore his left ACL in week 3 last season while with the chargers. Williams started training camp on the PUP list. Pro Football Docs are optimistic that Williams will be ready to play when the Jets face the San Francisco 49ers on Monday Night Football in Week 1. Known for his straight-line speed and deep-threat capabilities, Williams' play style, which relies less on cutting and precise route running, is expected to aid his return. Will be WR 2 behind Garrett Wilson. Concerns for Williams rely on his ability to adapt to a new offense, the health of Aaron Rodgers. Although his playstyle helps expect a down season for Williams in 2024.

Gabe Davis

Davis signed a three-year, $39 million contract with the Jacksonville Jaguars this offseason. Last year, in the final week of the regular season, Davis suffered a left PCL knee sprain as determined by video analysis from our panel of Pro Football Docs. This injury caused him to miss the Bills' two playoff games. Reports indicate that his recovery has been slow. The Jaguars will be looking to Davis to replace the statistical output of Calvin Ridley, who departed for the division-rival Tennessee Titans. While Davis has the potential to be a game-changer, he will need to work on his consistency. His ability to perform at a high level in every game will be key to his success with the Jaguars. With a healthy return and the right support from the coaching staff, Davis could become a vital part of Jacksonville's offensive strategy and help lead the team to greater success in the upcoming season. Will need to return and start working with new teammates as he has missed crucial time due to recovery from injury and this delay lands him on the avoids list.
