Last season, Philadelphia Eagles QB Jalen Hurts faced multiple injuries that impacted his typically strong performance.
Hurts sustained a bone bruise to his lead leg midseason and later suffered an MCL injury in the same knee. Despite setting an NFL record for a quarterback with 15 rushing touchdowns in 2023, his yards per carry dropped to a career-low 3.9, and he fumbled six times, losing four. The Eagles lost six of their last seven games.
Towards the end of the season, Hurts also endured a finger injury on his throwing hand, which he played through, though it affected his effectiveness.
Pro Football Doc expects Hurts to be fully recovered for the start of the new season. However, the bigger question is how he will adapt to the Eagles' offseason coaching changes, including the hiring of Kellen Moore as offensive coordinator and Doug Nussmeier as quarterbacks coach.
