Rookie linebacker Willie Gay was injured early in the Week 17 contest against Los Angeles and did not return. By video review, he suffered a mild high ankle sprain due to friendly fire. He has a shot at returning in the Divisional Round of the playoffs, which would be Kansas City’s first game this postseason.
