Winston suffered a hairline fracture in his right thumb last Sunday. As we said when the injury happened, Winston will play and he has a chance to be himself. Bruce Arians said the quarterback had swelling and soreness in his thumb earlier this week. Which we also noted earlier this week. With this being said, expect Winston to be limited in practice tomorrow. He was sent to the hand specialist because the team didn’t want to make the injury worse or threaten the future of Winston. However, the news today sets the record straight, Winston will play Sunday. Keep an eye on his ability to grip the football. It could potentially limit the quarterback.
