Update: Upon MRI, Mike Williams was confirmed to have an ACL tear. He will miss the remainder of the season. By video, he appeared to have damage to his MCL as well, which may delay his surgery.
Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Mike Williams appeared to suffer a significant left knee injury in the Chargers' win.
By video, an ACL tear is the main concern with potential damage to his MCL as well, according to our panel of doctors.
Williams was helped off the field with trainers and did not put much weight on left leg. He did not return to the game and was carted to the locker room with a towel over his head.
He will undergo an MRI to evaluate the damage. If confirmed, Williams will miss the remainder of the season.
Williams finished with 7 catches for 121 yards and a touchdown.
His absence could mean more targets for rookie wideout Quentin Johnston.
No. 1 wideout Keenan Allen finished with 18 catches for 215 yards.
