Funchess broke his collarbone in the first game of the season for the Colts after leaving the Carolina Panthers in the offseason. The expectation was that he could be designated for return late in the season but was never able to recover in time as there was some question to how the injury was healing. Given the timeline, we believe Funchess could pass a physical and be signed as it has been over 6 months now since the initial injury.
