Yoan Moncada Making Return From Oblique Strain Tonight Against Guardians

White Sox starting third baseman Yoan Moncada will make his season debut Monday night against Cleveland.

The 26-year-old will play third base and bat second. Moncada has been on the 10-day IL since suffering a strained oblique during spring training.

He hit 14 home runs and 33 doubles with 61 RBIs and 74 runs scored while batting .263 last season.

Joe Kelly was also activated for the game and will be available out of the bullpen. He has not played since suffering a biceps injury in March.

White Sox World Series Odds

Chicago, 14-13, has won six straight games and are 3 games back from the Twins for first place in the AL Central.

The White Sox are at -115 to win the division and +1500 to win the World Series, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
